Tip Of The Day: EXERCISE TO LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
Regular exercise can help control your blood pressure by making your heart stronger.
When your heart is stronger, it doesn’t have to work as hard to pump blood.
Exercise can also help you manage your weight and your stress level which are both good for your blood pressure.
If your blood pressure is already at a healthy level (less than 120/80 mmHg), exercise can help keep it there.
If you have high blood pressure, talk with your doctor before starting an exercise program. Remember to start slowly and stay with it.
